As the days shorten and the temperatures plummet, I am ever reminded of the many things I have to be thankful for. The gift of time, to make art and explore interesting ideas is something I am especially grateful for. Having reached a certain age, I have been thinking more about the enduring wisdom of women, often unrecognized and certainly unsung. For an end-of-the-year post, I am posting a few details from my new series of work, Wisdom Cloaks, done in wool and cotton gauze cheescloth, now in progress.
